Privacy Policy

Account & contact: your name, phone number, email and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Orders & addresses: the parts you order, delivery addresses, order history and tax invoices.

Vehicle & documents: vehicles you save, and — if you use them — photos you upload for registration-card (Mulkiya) scanning or photo part search. These images are processed to read the relevant details and are not sold.

Vendor documents: if you register as a vendor, your trade licence, VAT certificate and bank details for payouts.

Device & usage: basic technical data (device type, app version, IP address) and how you use the app, to keep it secure and working.

To create and secure your account; process orders, payments, invoices and delivery; provide the scan and search features; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; and meet our legal and tax obligations in the UAE.

We share only what is necessary: with the vendor fulfilling your order; with couriers to deliver it; with payment providers to process payment; and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your cart and preferences. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Passwords are hashed, access is controlled, and traffic is encrypted in transit on our production domain. After several incorrect passwords in a row, sign-in to that account is paused for a short time and the account holder is told. When the website or apps hit an error, we record technical details (the page, the error and the device type) to fix it. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as UAE law requires (for example, tax records), then delete or anonymise it.

You can access or correct your details in your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time — under Profile on the website, or Account (buyer app) or More (seller app). Deleting removes your name, email, phone number, saved addresses, garage, wishlist, cart, Mulkiya scans and notifications. Orders and tax invoices are kept without your contact details, because UAE VAT law requires us to keep them; a seller's business and payout records are kept for the same reason. You can also contact us to exercise these rights.

Cars App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
